Free Community Snorkel: Whitireia Park 1

Come on down to Whitireia Park and join Mountains to Sea Wellington for the first of our free summer community snorkel events.

This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to see the beauty of our underwater world, brought to you in partnership with Greater Wellington Regional Council. Take a peek at the fascinating array of marine organisms that live right here on our doorstep, out of sight, just under the surface.

Beginner snorkelers are encouraged (but you must be comfortable in the water). The minimum age for snorkelling is 8, and those under 16 must be accompanied by a snorkelling adult.

We provide all the gear free of charge and will also buddy you up with an experienced snorkel guide to facilitate the best experience possible. Our guides will get you kitted out, answer any fishy questions you might have and generally look after you whilst you take a dive into the salt and spray.
